The Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute present, with special thanks to Daniela Faggioli, the US premiere of Mario Martone's film Noi credevamo (We Believed, Italy, 2010, 121 min.) as the final event celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Italian Unification. Nominated for the Golden Lion at the 67th Venice International Film Festival and starring the famed Luigi Lo Cascio, Noi credevamo follows the lives of three young men from Southern Italy who decide to join Giuseppe Mazzini's "Giovane Italia".
